Digital fabric assets can organized in groups with similar aesthetic properties much like color libraries are arranged in groups of similar shade groups.  A fabric developer can browse a library of virtual fabrics to explore different construction and stitch patterns.  Each asset can be saved and exported for recoloring in conventional image editing software.
